Kidepo Valley National Park is a national park in Uganda, located in the northeastern corner of the country. It is known for its stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, and unique cultural experiences. The park is home to a wide variety of animals, including elephants, giraffes, lions, and cheetahs, as well as over 400 bird species.
Sipi is a popular tourist destination in Uganda known for its stunning waterfalls and beautiful scenery. The Sipi Falls is a series of three waterfalls located in the foothills of Mount Elgon, with the highest waterfall dropping 100 meters.

Your journey from Kampala will begin with a visit to Jinja, a town located in the East of Kampala and on the shores of Lake Victoria about a 2-hour-drive off Kampala City. This town is well known for being the historic source of the Mighty world’s longest River Nile. On a boat ride you will go on a cruise out to the actual source of the Nile, where Lake Victoria meets the Nile, beginning its 6,650 km long journey to the Mediterranean Sea. After this little stop you will Proceed on toward to Sipi Falls in the foothills of Mount Elgon National Park. This hilly landscape has a spectacular series of waterfalls and a network of walking tracks winding through villages and lush coffee-producing fields.
Flowing on the foothills of Mount Elgon is the Sipi River, forming a series of waterfalls – that culminate in a spectacular drop. The waterfalls are surrounded by beautiful walking tracks and lush green hills. A local experienced guide will lead you on a 3-hour hike through the region to visit these falls. Besides nature in plenty the hike will include a local lunch experience and a tour of a small local coffee producing farms. This is the time for you to experience Uganda’s coffee being the main cash crop of the land and you can have a chance to pick a few from the farms to take home.
If you trust your Phobia to be low, you can ascend the top of the 100-meter-high Sipi Falls. Hanging from a rope in the cool mist of the gushing falls right beside you, the once in a life time experience looking at spectacular panoramic view of the valley below.
Moroto town is located near the gentle slopes of Mount Moroto which covers a total height of 3085m, and it happens to be in the Centre stage of Karamoja region. In this remote region of Uganda, many awaits your Sight.
The hike on Mount Moroto which is also the highest mountain in the region awaits as you leave for it early in the morning. During the walk you will encounter and visit the Tepeth mountain people and get an insight into their culture and everyday lives.
On this day you will visit a traditional Karamojong manyatta. A manyatta is a village made up of several huts, surrounded by a fence made of branches and thorns. These are put up to keep the cattle in and to protect them from thieving rival tribes and wild animals.
Your visit to a manyatta will give you an interesting insight into the customs and traditions of the Karamojong tribes.
You will head farther north after the manyatta visit to the remotest and pristine national park in the country, the Kidepo Valley National Park lying in the in the rugged semi-arid valleys in the northeast part of Uganda, the park sits in the corner between Uganda’s borders with South Sudan and Kenya. It’s very long but sight rewarding with a view of some of the beautiful sceneries in the land.
On your arrival to the park you will have an afternoon game drive time to the wild Narus Valley to see herds of elephant and buffaloes. Luck may strike too and u you even spot some lions and leopards resting on the various rocks in the valley base.
You are expected to cover a wide range of distance in this amazing park the park is a home to 475 bird species and over 80 mammal species, among them; lions, ostriches, zebras, bat-eared foxes, aardwolves, caracals, cheetahs, and greater and lesser kudus.
