L. Mburo & Queen Elizabeth Wonder

A combination of Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth national parks is a true wonder why Uganda was named the pearl of Africa. Rich in wild game, your eyes may never wish to blink as u love every moment. The biggest mammals, boat cruises, bird watching is all you can expect from this expedition.

Upon your arrival at the airport, our guide will get in touch with you to embark on your memorable journey to the western part of the country, from Kampala to lake mburo, enjoy a scenic drive along the 260km journey. You will stop over at the Equator 90kms west of Kampala for a memorable photo shooting. Arriving at Lake mburo, you will embark on an evening game drive where u will encounter zebras, Uganda Kob, Buffaloes, warthogs. in the afternoon,you will embark on a guided birding excursion in the birding spots of the park– the swampy valleys of Warukiri and Miriti, the roadsides between Rwonyo camp and the jetty, the viewing platforms at the salt licks, and Rubanga forest. While here your eyes can not escape the beautiful wild game like the Zebras, Antelopes, Buffaloes. 

Having spent a night in the cool atmosphere of Lake Mburo, aafter having breakfast, you will hit one of the park’s networks of game tracks for viewing opportunities. While driving through, you will sight many wildlife species including; zebras, elands, waterbucks, buffaloes, leopards, hyenas and topis. After lunch, you will embark on a 2-hour boat cruise on Lake Mburo. You will spot crocodiles and hippos at the banks, and a variety of water birds. Besides sailing, you can end your day with spot fishing on the lake. From there u will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park  


Waking up in a perfect adventuring condition and mood in the savanna grasslands of the park you will enjoy a game drive to the northern sector of the park – Kasenyi plains in search for leopards and lions. Along the track expect to encounter big herds of elephants, buffalos, Uganda Kobs, warthogs, waterbuck, bushbuck and giant forest hogs and many more. After a long morning drive, return to the lodge for lunch before undertaking a launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel in the afternoon. Along the Launch cruise you will come closer to Big heards of elephants drinking water, hippos, Crocodiles and Many bird species some of which are immigrants. At 6:00 pm return to the lodge for your dinner and relaxation.

After breakfast at 8:00 am you will drive to Ishasha to take a glance and capture a view of the climbing lions the 2-hour Journey covering 120kms will lead you to the south wing of Queen Elizabeth. At 10:00am full berried and satisfied lions begin climbing fig trees as they seek shelter in the tree branches from the scorching sunshine. You will return late afternoon and have your Lunch and from here you will go tracking the Chimpanzees in the Kyambura Gorge from where you will retire late evening for a rest.

After breakfast you will embark on an 7 hour Journey to Entebbe International Airport for your connecting flight along the journey you can make a stop and visit the Eclipse Monument at Igongo in Biharwe-Mbarara City.
