Game Viewing -Murchison, Kibale & Queen Elizabeth
This park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including zebras, impalas, hippos, and crocodiles. Visitors to Lake Mburo can go on game drives, boat cruises, and guided nature walks to explore the park and spot its many inhabitants. Your safari starts from the hotel or Entebbe Airport where your Gorge Africa guide/driver will pick you and embark on the road to Murchison Falls National Park.the 274 km journey will take u nearly 5 hours.
On a route, you will make a stopover at Zziwa Rhino sanctuary for your first Big experience where you will have a time to track the rhinos. From there Masindi will be the next stop where u will have you hot lunch. You will continue to the park where you will have a brief evening drive as you go to your lodge for relaxation. You could come along some of the animals along the way like the Elephants, Buffaloes, Warthogs, giraffes.
After an early breakfast at your residence, your guide will take you to tour the Northern Murchison park with a high concentration of savannah wildlife. You will Enjoy game viewing and photography of elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, giraffes, Uganda kobs and lions, the leopards plus a variety of bird species. You will later Return in the afternoon for Lunch and then go for a launch trip to the base of the Murchison falls. You will Cruise past huge hippos, crocodiles, bathing buffalo, and numerous aquatic birds adorning the north bank on the way to the mighty rumbling waterfalls. You will have an opportunity to take thousands of pictures, so carry your HD camera with you.
You will proceed for a hike to the top of the falls which happens to be a thriling unforgettable experience upon reaching the top. Miss it only if you must! Return to your accommodation, relax, enjoy your dinner and overnight.
After your morning breakfast at your accommodation, you will depart for Kibale Forest National Park.
Famously known for its primates like the chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, red cheeked monkeys and red-tailed monkeys, kibale happens to be located 370km south west of Murchison. As you descend into Murchison you will come across the swinging monkeys in the forest trees and others feeding on the wild fruits. You will check in into your accommodation where you will have dinner and the overnight rest.
By Early morning at 6:30 am, your guide will get in touch with you after your morning breakfast for a brief message by the park ranger. At 8:30 am you will begin trail which takes a minimum of 3 hours to track the chimps in the forest.
You will the descend back to the lodge lunch from where you will prepare for an evening nature walk in the Bigodi wetland. Here you Expect to see some primates which include different monkey species; and a glut of birds. This will be the climax of your day as you transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Early in the morning, you will go out for a long game drive through the park, with magnificent views of the plains, valleys, terraced hills, and wild animals like bushbuck, kob, warthogs, elephants, lions, buffaloes. You will later return for Lunch in the afternoon before heading for a Launch cruise in the kazinga Channel
The afternoon adventure involves a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a water stream joining Lake Edward and Lake George. You will encounter hippos, ccrocodiles along the channel, besides the variety of birds that flock the reed shores like the shoebill, pelicans, kingfishers, saddle billed stork, and sometimes the crowned cranes. a wide range of animals will be viewed on the channel banks as the water themselves up. Late evening you will visit Lake katwe crater to have a glance at the salt Mining activity from where you will Return to your accommodation late evening dinner.
After an early morning breakfast at 8:00 am embark on a 2-hour Journey covering 120kms to the southern wing of Queen Elizabeth Ishasha to catch view of the climbing Lions. At 10:00 am full berried and satisfied lions are already in fig trees as they seek shelter in the tree branches from the scorching sunshine. This will be the climax of your journey as you embark on a long journey to Kampala for your connecting freight at Entebbe Airport
