What you need to know

Stone Town is the cultural heart of the island and the old city area of Zanzibar City, located on the western shore of the island. This famous old city acquired its name from the many big buildings made of stones that form the major part of the old town. These buildings are actually not made of stone, but with mortar and corals. Although the corals were a good and easily available building material.

Early morning at 9:00AM, we make our first stop at the fruit market, which opened more than a century ago in 1904, it has got a variety of tropical fruits and spices. From there we shall visit the social site like the Anglican Cathedral at Mkunazini, that was built in 1874 on the site of the former slave market.
The guide will unleash to you the cities slave history and take you the the places where slaves were being auctioned. We shall then head to the National Museum of Zanzibar, which is also referred to as the Peace Memorial Museum. We shall view a collection of the island's natural history and artifacts collected in there. We shall head to Forondhani Gardens, where you will have an opportunity to see the former British Consulate, a place where explorers such as Dr. Livingston and Henry Morton Stanley came for camped before explorations.
On our bucket list we will also explore the Old Fort, the tallest buildings in Zanzibar, house of Wonders which was built by the Sultan as a ceremonial and administrative building. As we walk through the streets of stone town, we shall encounter houses, most of which are older than 150 years. Not forgetting Dr. Livingston House. An entry fee is required for the museum. We shall also vi Marahubi where we will see the Ruins of Sultan Barghash's Palace. you will have your lunch before heading for an afternoon activity 

You will experience swimming with the Dolphins at kizimkazi fishing village South Coast of Unguja Island, the three-hour guided tour will usher you to these activities, for those who are lucky they can get opportunity to play with them, Kizimkazi is the home to several schools of fish and bottle-nosed dolphins and Humpback dolphins.

You will will experience the evening dhow cruise as you embark on a beautiful journey with traditional Arabian dhow, that departs from Forodhani Park Zanzibar. Visitors are taking the sea view passing around house of wonders, palace museum, old dispensary, custom house as you enjoy the Zanzibar pastries and drinks.
